Job Description

Apple is seeking an experienced Engineering Program Manager to join our Software and Services team. As a key member of our SWE Factory EPM team, you will be responsible for driving the software deliverables to our factories during various hardware builds, from development phase to mass production.

You will work closely with our engineering teams to identify solutions for software that impact hardware, provide timely communications to factories about future release schedules, and coordinate control runs to ensure smooth rollouts. Additionally, you will identify and highlight risks, work on mitigations, and drive for alignment with all stakeholders across Software and Hardware orgs.

Responsibilities
  • Drive software deliverables to factories during various hardware builds
  • Work with engineering teams to identify solutions for software that impact hardware
  • Provide timely communications to factories about future release schedules
  • Coordinate control runs to ensure smooth rollouts
  • Identify and highlight risks, work on mitigations, and drive for alignment with all stakeholders
Requirements
  • 3-5+ years of experience project managing complex, multi-functional projects
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to drive multiple programs, prioritize, and solve complex problems
  • Ability to quickly establish and manage cross-functional relationships
  • Self-motivated and pro-active with demonstrated creative and critical thinking
  • Knowledge of Software and Hardware product lifecycle
  • Experience in consumer electronics factory line
  • BS/MS EE/CS/CE or relevant experience
