Job Overview

This role offers a unique opportunity to make a difference in the lives of underserved communities and individuals in need. As a Community Counselor, you will be responsible for providing clinical and logistical support to our team as we deliver essential services.

Main Responsibilities
  • Conduct STI testing and treatment, STD screening, and linkages to medical treatment and education to at-risk populations
  • Collect and analyze behavior-related data, conduct pre- and post-test counseling, collect STD swab specimens, and prepare them for laboratory analysis
  • Drive the Mobile Testing Unit, follow up with clients to provide test results and referrals, and maintain quality assurance activities
  • Ensure client confidentiality, order and maintain necessary medical and office supplies, collect and enter client data into approved systems, and participate in project meetings
