Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Banquet Captain to join our team at Goodstone Inn and Restaurant. As a key member of our events team, you will be responsible for overseeing banquet operations, coordinating with event hosts, and managing a team to ensure smooth execution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead banquet setup and service, ensuring a seamless experience for our guests.
  • Collaborate with the events team and kitchen to ensure efficient operations and exceptional service.
  • Anticipate and meet the needs of our guests, providing top-notch service and attention to detail.
  • Train and guide banquet staff to ensure they are equipped to deliver exceptional service.
  • Handle last-minute event changes and requests with ease, maintaining a calm and friendly demeanor.
Requirements
  • 1+ years of experience in event or leadership roles, with a proven track record of success.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail and a calm, friendly attitude, with a passion for delivering exceptional service.
  • Must be 18+ years old.
