Join Our Team as a Lab Medical Assistant

New York Health is a leading healthcare provider that is transforming the way healthcare is delivered. We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Lab Medical Assistant to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage patient intakes and record accurate patient information
  • Collect and process lab specimens, perform venipuncture, flu/covid/strep testing, and other laboratory procedures
  • Perform audiometry testing, spirometry, PFTs, nebulizer treatments, and urine tests
  • Measure and record patients' vital signs
  • Prepare patients for examinations
  • Sterilize medical equipment and instruments
  • Provide assistance to physicians during examinations
  • Administer EKGs
Requirements:
  • A Medical Assistant Certificate and a High School Diploma
  • At least 1 year of experience in phlebotomy
  • Bilingual, English/Spanish speaking preferred
  • Proficiency in Word/Excel
