Key Responsibilities:

The Human Resources Service Center (HRSC) is a pivotal entity that provides comprehensive HR-related services, ensuring exceptional customer support for all employees at NSI Industries. This role involves establishing and overseeing policies and procedures while providing daily leadership for the HR Service Center. The HRSC also facilitates various HR initiatives, including New Employee Orientation, Compensation Management, Benefits Administration, Leave Management, Records Oversight, Payroll Processing, HRIS Data Accuracy, and Wellness Programs.

The Director of the HR Service Center plays a crucial role in the Human Resources department's success, managing all facets of acquisition integration, benefits, payroll, HRIS, compliance, and compensation. A deep understanding of these areas is essential, along with the ability to execute both strategic and tactical functions. The focus will be on effective leadership of the service center, enhancing business process efficiencies, and maintaining and upgrading the HR management system, employee portal, and knowledge base.

This is a hands-on role where the HRSC Director will be responsible for the Retirement, Benefits, and Compensation sectors of HR.

Core Duties Include:

  • Facilitating integration support for new acquisitions, ensuring a smooth transition of benefits policies and HRIS.
  • Managing all aspects of benefits plan administration, including health, dental, vision, and retirement plans.
  • Overseeing leave management programs and related policies.
  • Supervising payroll processing to guarantee accuracy and timeliness in payroll operations.
  • Leading strategic planning and optimization of HRIS to align with organizational objectives.
  • Designing and implementing a cohesive service center strategy, ensuring consistent and compliant processes.
  • Developing key performance indicators (KPIs) and monitoring service level agreements with stakeholders.
  • Coordinating daily operations of the service center, ensuring adherence to NSI Industries' policies and standards.
  • Continuously assessing internal processes for effectiveness and responsiveness to customer needs.
  • Implementing innovative solutions to enhance the efficiency of the shared service center.
  • Identifying and evaluating advanced technologies to improve self-service options.
  • Utilizing various metrics to monitor and enhance the performance of the HR Service Center.
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal metrics.
  • Conducting human resources responsibilities, including performance evaluations and employee relations.
  • Managing audits and developing policies for compliance issues.
  • Creating and executing compensation strategies to attract and retain talent.
  • Fostering positive relationships within the service center team and with customers through effective communication.
  • Collaborating with HR leadership to refine policies and enhance service delivery.
  • Performing additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or Organizational Development.
  • A minimum of 8 years of supervisory experience in leading HR teams.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS.
  • Ability to conduct extensive data analysis and problem-solving.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Advanced knowledge of HR laws and regulations.
  • Familiarity with HR functions such as compensation, benefits, and payroll.
  • Proven project management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and results.
