Job Opportunity: Land Specialist

Selectek is seeking a highly skilled Land Specialist to join our team on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will be based near Birmingham, Alabama, and will be responsible for negotiating with landowners to acquire land for rights of way and easements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Travel to various locations throughout Alabama to negotiate with landowners
  • Locate and retrieve documentation to determine legal property ownership
  • Assemble complete documentation necessary for land rights acquisition
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • 3+ years of experience negotiating land rights with property owners
  • Knowledge of title research processes and methods
  • Active driver's license in good standing
  • Proficiency in Word/Excel applications
Compensation and Benefits:

$35.00-$40.00 per hour based on experience; contract assignment scheduled to last 18 months with potential to extend based on workload; mileage traveled to sites can be claimed

Schedule:

Monday-Friday, 8:00a - 5:00p with some possible overtime
