Job Summary

We are seeking a Per Diem RN to join our team at Oregon Health & Science University Doernbecher Childrens Hospital. As a Per Diem RN, you will provide high-quality patient care in our high-risk labor and delivery unit.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to high-risk obstetric patients
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
  • Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions
Requirements
  • Current RN licensure in Oregon
  • 2 years of recent experience in high-risk labor and delivery or OB nursing
  • Current BLS certification (AHA or equivalent)
  • 2 supervisory references within the last year
Preferred Qualifications
  • AWHONN Intermediate or Advanced certification
  • Experience with high-risk preeclampsia and insulin drips
Work Environment

This is a per diem position working in our high-risk labor and delivery unit. The unit is equipped with state-of-the-art technology and staffed by a team of experienced nurses and healthcare professionals.
