Position Summary

The pharmacy technician is tasked with executing pharmacy-related duties in accordance with Washington State Law, along with clerical and computer responsibilities for pharmacy administration.

Key Responsibilities
1. Supports the pharmacy in overall operations.
2. Maintains the pharmacy in a clean and organized manner.
3. Organizes and prepares pharmacy restocking supplies and medications.
4. Provides encouragement, constructive feedback, and support to volunteers consistently.
5. Communicates effectively with departments utilizing clinic or pharmacy services.
6. Demonstrates a positive attitude towards organizational changes aimed at enhancing performance and achieving strategic goals.
7. Engages in educational opportunities to broaden and enhance job knowledge and skills.
8. Utilizes supplies and equipment efficiently and responsibly.
9. Learns to prioritize departmental tasks for improved efficiency.
10. Adheres to hospital and departmental policies and procedures.
11. Actively contributes to the improvement of community health.

Qualifications
Education: High School diploma or GED equivalent required.
Experience: Previous experience in a pharmacy setting preferred.
Licenses/Certificates/Registration: Required licensure as a Pharmacy Assistant in Washington State (DOH).

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental, and retirement benefits, along with paid time off. As mandated by various pay transparency laws, we provide a competitive salary range for candidates in this position. The pay scale is $23.58 USD, influenced by factors such as skill set, experience level, and certifications or education. If this position is covered by a union contract, compensation will align with the appropriate step on the pay scale based on the applicant's experience.
