Position Summary
The Pharmacy Technician is tasked with executing pharmacy-related duties in accordance with Washington State Law, alongside clerical and computer responsibilities for pharmacy administration.
Key Responsibilities1. Support the pharmacy in its overall operations.
2. Maintain a clean and organized pharmacy environment.
3. Manage the organization and restocking of pharmacy supplies and medications.
4. Provide continuous support and constructive feedback to volunteers.
5. Communicate effectively with departments utilizing pharmacy services.
6. Demonstrate a positive attitude towards change and actively participate in initiatives aimed at enhancing organizational performance.
7. Engage in educational opportunities to broaden and refine job-related knowledge and skills.
8. Utilize supplies and equipment efficiently.
9. Learn to prioritize tasks to enhance departmental efficiency.
10. Adhere to hospital and departmental policies and procedures.
11. Contribute actively to the improvement of community health.
Education: High School diploma or GED equivalent required.
Experience: Previous experience in a pharmacy setting is preferred.
Licenses/Certificates: Required licensure as a Pharmacy Assistant in Washington State (DOH).
