About the Role

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide outstanding customer service by greeting customers, offering assistance, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Operate a cash register, scan items, bag merchandise, and handle different methods of payment accurately and efficiently.
  • Meet or exceed individual sales goals and performance metrics.
  • Support inventory accuracy by completing all required point of sale and merchandise disposition practices.
  • Participate in daily service processes, including register and cash balancing, change orders, and replenishing supplies.
Requirements
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to multi-task with strong attention to detail.
  • Verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • No retail experience required, but a positive attitude and willingness to learn are essential.
  • Must be 16 years of age or older.
  • Flexible availability, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Client-facing retail or service industry experience.
Essential Functions
  • Ability to perform the accountabilities listed above.
  • Ability to satisfactorily complete company training programs.
  • Ability to comply with dress code requirements.
  • Basic math and reading skills, legible handwriting, and basic computer operation.
  • Ability to operate and communicate on multiple frequency devices, handheld scanners, and other technology equipment as directed.
  • Ability to maintain prompt and regular attendance and meet scheduling requirements as set by the company.
Physical Requirements
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently and occasionally over 50 lbs. with a two-person lift.
  • Ability to climb, squat, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, twist, reach, lift, grasp, push, and pull on a frequent basis.
  • Ability to stand/walk for the duration of a scheduled shift.
  • Ability to visually verify information and locate and inspect merchandise.
