Microsoft Modern Workplace Technology Software Engineer III

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Microsoft Modern Workplace Technology Software Engineer III to join our team at Capital Group. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a leadership role in ensuring the stability, integrity, and smooth operation of information technology systems that support our business functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform or lead all phases of the product engineering and operation lifecycle, including research, requirements planning, building, testing, and run/support.
- Provide expert-level assistance in operational functions by applying proven communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to help identify, communicate, and resolve complex issues to minimize outages to critical business functions and maximize the benefit of IT systems investments.
- Participate in strategy research and planning efforts within the domain of M365 modern workplace platform.
- Research external trends to increase awareness of evolving industry and technology among peers.
- Participate in research of internal improvement opportunities for process re-engineering automation within the domain.
- Ensure an up-to-date understanding of Capital Group businesses and the role the specific technology plays to support underlying business functions.
- Ensure up-to-date understanding of Capital Group technology strategies and roadmaps.
- Lead solution initiatives utilizing all aspects of the solution life cycle.
- Manage and feature prioritize the product/solution.
- Contribute to or may lead functional and non-functional requirements analysis.
Requirements
- At least 3-5 years of M365 platform administration experience, including experience as a platform administrator for MS Teams and/or SharePoint Online.
- Experience being a part of a team using PowerShell, Graph API, and Azure app service or similar technologies.
- Experience with data visualization/data manipulation tools like Excel, Microsoft PowerBI, or Tableau, etc.
- Experience troubleshooting and resolving issues with cloud infrastructure and applications.
- Participation in requirements gathering, functional and non-functional testing, and deployment processes.
- Ability to stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in collaboration and knowledge management computing.
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral, and ability to communicate clearly with non-technical audiences.
- Experience dealing with ambiguity, managing complexity, and driving for results, ultimately taking end-to-end ownership of the outcome.
Compensation and Benefits
Capital Group offers a highly competitive base salary range of $116,974-$187,158 for Southern California and $96,162-$153,859 for San Antonio. In addition to a base salary, you will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital's annual profitability bonus, and a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.
