As a key member of our Cloud Operations & Innovation (CO+I) team, you will play a crucial role in delivering the core infrastructure and foundational technologies for our online services, including Bing, Office 365, Xbox, OneDrive, and the Microsoft Azure platform.

Responsibilities- Design and Development
- Develop a deep understanding of industry trends, competitors' products, customer experience, and advances in various engineering fields.
- Consult with other engineers to apply advanced concepts.
- Assist in creating robust, scalable, secure, and extensible designs and/or verification plans for electrical engineering aspects of a well-defined feature or product extension.
- Ensure test requirements are included in documentation and specifications for a feature or product.
- Determine the appropriate test equipment for measuring a feature of a product according to existing verification plans.
- Write design verification test cases using standard templates and test methodologies.
- Follow project implementation schedules to deliver the hardware engineering aspects of a well-defined feature or product.
- Escalate issues to management as necessary.
- Highlight potential issues that may affect downstream execution of projects.
- Follow established procedures to participate in creating detailed reports and functional specifications for a well-defined product feature or extension.
- Document essential details about materials, components, and/or assemblies for a device via accepted release processes.
Requirements
We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated individual with a strong background in electrical engineering and experience in designing and developing electrical systems for datacenter operations. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
