Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Systems Engineer to join our Cloud Infrastructure team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure data centers across the globe.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical leadership and guidance on cloud infrastructure projects
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business goals and objectives
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud technology trends and best practices
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to enhance data center efficiency and sustainability
  • Represent Microsoft externally and promote our cloud infrastructure initiatives

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of technical engineering experience in cloud infrastructure
  • Deep understanding of server and data center different liquid cooling technologies
  • Knowledge of server system architecture and hands-on experience in integration, validation, and bring-up of Printed Circuit Board Arrays (PCBAs), hardware components, and/or systems
  • Proven experience in data center facility cooling and systems hardware testing

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 16+ years of technical engineering experience in cloud infrastructure
  • Demonstrated deep understanding of server and data center power technologies
  • Experience using Computer Aided Design (CAD) tools and CFD tools
  • Proven knowledge in chemistry and material science, particularly with refrigerants used for cooling applications
