  • Ensure timely and accurate completion of financial reports in compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare materials for management and board reporting.
  • Implement methods to ensure data accuracy and regulatory compliance.
  • Develop oversight procedures, enhance operational efficiencies, and support regulatory changes.
  • Review fund budgets, expenses, and payment processes.
  • Support cost-saving initiatives and stay informed on industry trends.
  • Participate in industry events and training programs.
  • Act as a backup for senior staff accountant and handle other assigned duties.

Qualifications:

  • Up to two years of professional experience.
  • Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial statement analysis.
  • Problem-solving skills and ability to handle multiple priorities.
  • Commitment to delivering quality products/services and proactive development.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to adapt communication styles.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and interact with associates at all levels.

Work Environment:

  • This role is based in an office setting, requiring prolonged stationary work at a desk or computer.
  • Substantial wrist, hand, and finger movements for computer-based tasks.

Education and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance-related field.
  • Proficiency in general ledger accounting and spreadsheet applications.
  • Knowledge of word processing and presentation software.

Certifications:

  • Certified Public Accountant or MBA qualification is preferred.

Job Demands:

  • May require extended hours during peak workloads or special projects.
