Position Summary

The Maintenance Operations Manager is tasked with overseeing the maintenance division within a Domino's Pizza distribution and manufacturing center.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a skilled maintenance team to conduct maintenance activities, including preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and machinery installation related to food processing equipment, structural integrity, and both mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Guide the team in the design, assessment, troubleshooting, repair, and installation of bakery machinery, encompassing electrical, mechanical, plumbing, hydraulic, pneumatic, and computer control systems.
  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols while working on mechanical and electrical systems in a production setting.
Qualifications
  • Associate's degree or equivalent technical training, along with 2+ years of experience in a relevant field.
  • A minimum of 3 years of applicable experience.
  • Proven supervisory experience, including recruitment, training, and performance management.
  • Intermediate proficiency in software applications such as Word, Excel, and Computer Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
  • Ability to read and interpret technical blueprints and schematic diagrams.
  • Capability to perform effectively under pressure during equipment malfunctions.
  • Strong communication skills for presenting information to peers and management.
  • Proficient in problem-solving and drawing valid conclusions.
  • Understanding of technical instructions and diagrams.
  • Relevant certifications, such as Certified Electrician in Electrical and Refrigeration.
  • Knowledge of Safe Food Handling Practices.
  • Preferred: Certification from the American Bakery Institute (A.B.I).
  • Ability to work in environments with yeast and flour.
