Job Title: ESL Teacher

Ardmore Language Schools is seeking a highly motivated and experienced ESL Teacher to join our team.

Job Summary

The ESL Teacher will be responsible for teaching English to junior students, preparing and delivering lessons, and participating in activities and excursions. The ideal candidate will have a CELTA or Trinity TESOL qualification, English mother tongue, and teaching experience with junior students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach English to a high standard following the workbook curriculum and the academic program of Ardmore Language Schools.
  • Prepare and deliver lessons to achieve the objectives and outcomes of the curriculum.
  • Use teaching techniques that are appropriate to the level and needs of the students.
  • Administer and mark course assessments tasks as well as marking placement and exit tests.
  • Maintain excellent class administration including lesson preparation, class registration and monitoring student progress.
  • Participate in, lead and supervise activities during morning, afternoon and evening sessions as necessary.
  • Organize and supervise excursions.
Requirements
  • CELTA or Trinity TESOL qualification or Masters in Education.
  • English mother tongue.
  • Teaching experience with junior students.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Flexibility and adaptability.
  • Ability and desire to work as part of a team.
