ESOL Instructor Position at Commonpoint Queens

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking an experienced ESOL instructor to join our team at Commonpoint Queens. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and delivering English language classes tailored to the needs of immigrants, individuals, and families in the Bronx.

**Responsibilities:**

* Develop and implement ESOL curriculum for beginner, intermediate, and advanced-level learners
* Deliver contextualized ESOL instruction with a focus on health care
* Utilize virtual learning tools and online platforms to deliver lessons and classroom content
* Teach ESOL to newly arrived immigrants, refugees, asylees, and other residents to facilitate integration into their communities and access to professional employment
* Collaborate with various teams for job placement and wrap-around services for ESOL learners
* Conduct intake, outreach, and recruitment for potential ESOL clients

**Qualifications:**

* Bachelor's Degree in social work, education, counseling, public policy, or related field
* TESOL or CELTA certification
* Minimum of 1 year experience in ESOL instruction
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to work some evenings and weekends, depending on class scheduling

**What We Offer:**

* Competitive salary range of $55,000 - $60,000
* Full-time position
