San Jacinto College is seeking a qualified Part-Time Faculty Instructor to teach Vocational Nursing related course work. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing education and be able to effectively communicate with students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach Vocational Nursing related course work to students.
  • Develop and implement curriculum to meet the needs of students and the College.
  • Assess student learning and provide feedback to students.
  • Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the development of departmental goals and objectives.

Requirements:

  • Associate's degree in Nursing.
  • Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Texas.
  • At least three (3) years direct or related work experience in nursing required exclusive of teaching.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nursing.
  • Previous teaching experience in an L.V.N. program.

Salary Information:

Salary is based on the Board-approved salary schedule for the current fiscal year.
