Join FullBloom as a Substitute Educator for Math and Reading Intervention in grades K. Your Role in Student Success:

  • Act as an advocate, mentor, and transformative figure for students.
  • Deliver instruction in Reading/ELA and Math to small groups across various grade levels, focusing on intervention strategies.
  • Implement designated instructional frameworks in readiness, reading, mathematics, and writing skills using company-provided materials and educational methodologies.
  • Develop and maintain individualized lesson plans tailored to students' skill levels.
  • Ensure the safety and supervision of students at all times, including guiding them between classrooms and learning areas.
  • Complete necessary data entry promptly to adhere to deadlines (including attendance, testing, progress reports, and compliance documentation).
  • Organize and participate in parent meetings and conferences.
  • Maintain accurate student records and files as mandated by company and regulatory standards.
  • Communicate consistently with supervisors, classroom teachers, and parents to support student learning.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.
  • Customize lesson plans using provided resources to meet specific student needs.
  • Maximize instructional time by adapting pacing and differentiation strategies.
  • Establish a learning environment that clarifies educational goals and connects lessons effectively.
  • Utilize data to tailor and differentiate instruction for students.
  • Engage students by setting clear learning objectives, promoting critical thinking, and encouraging a growth mindset.
  • Empower students to take ownership of their learning journey.
  • Implement clear routines and procedures that foster student success.
  • Participate in training sessions to master new content and demonstrate proficiency in assessments.
  • Embrace feedback and show willingness to adopt innovative teaching methods.
  • Maintain accurate data to facilitate analysis of student support, including attendance and academic performance.

Qualifications:

  • Associate's Degree or higher.
  • Possession of a Teaching Certificate, Statement of Eligibility, Paraprofessional Certificate, or Substitute Certificate.
  • Experience in classroom teaching, internships, or tutoring.
  • Willingness to teach both Math and Reading/ELA across various grade levels.
  • Ability to navigate online platforms for record-keeping and communication.
