Demand Planning Analyst

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Demand Planning Analyst to join our dynamic team at Collins Aerospace, a subsidiary of RTX. As a key member of our demand planning, materials management, and distribution processes, you will collaborate with various teams to forecast demand, manage inventory levels, and ensure timely delivery of materials.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts using historical data, market trends, and customer insights.
  • Analyze sales data, inventory levels, and production schedules to identify trends and make recommendations for improvements.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, production, and supply chain, to align on inventory needs and demand changes.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on demand trends, inventory status, and supply chain performance metrics to support decision-making.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within demand planning and materials management processes.
Requirements
  • Typically requires a University Degree and between 0 and less than 2 years prior relevant experience or in absence of a degree, 6 years of relevant experience.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.
  • Planning, Materials, or Supply Chain experience is preferred (this can be from an internship).
  • Analytical skills with working experience in Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience with data analysis tools is preferred.
