Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist pharmacists with medication preparation, delivery, and inventory management
  • Provide excellent customer service to patients and healthcare staff
  • Monitor and maintain adequate medication levels in medication storage areas
  • Perform routine rounds to patient care floors to deliver medication and miscellaneous supplies
  • Fill medication requisitions for outpatient care areas and research laboratories
  • Assess assigned medication storage areas for outdated medication, cleanliness, and appropriate stocking
  • Fill automated dispensing machines using barcode technology
  • Assist in all areas of the Pharmacy Department as time permits from scheduled assignments
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Current Massachusetts Pharmacy Technician Registration in good standing
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and stand for long periods
