Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Environmental Services Technician to join our team in Portland, OR. The successful candidate will possess a strong understanding of good housekeeping and laundry practices, as well as excellent interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with colleagues and other departments. This role requires the ability to evaluate the quality of services provided and adhere to Universal Precautions, Infection Control, and Safety guidelines.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement disinfection and terminal cleaning procedures in assigned areas.
  • Remove soiled linens from departments to the soiled utility room.
  • Utilize time efficiently, minimizing interactions with patients, visitors, and staff.
  • Sweep, wet mop, vacuum floors, and spot clean carpet.
  • Notify the Manager of any conditions affecting the quality of service provided.

Qualifications:

  • COVID-19 Vaccination
  • 1 year of experience in environmental services, housekeeping, or laundry

Preferred Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
