Regional Director of Events and Services

Eurest is a leading provider of business and industry dining solutions, and we're seeking a highly skilled Regional Director of Events and Services to join our team.

About the Role

The Regional Director of Events and Services will be responsible for leading our team of Directors who oversee the Events and Audio Visual departments, ensuring the highest level of service and event operations. This role will require strong leadership and management skills, as well as the ability to collaborate with senior leadership, clients, and internal stakeholders to drive business growth and success.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Advocate for company culture and values within the Events, Event Services, and AV departments, and foster an environment focused on people and growth.
  2. Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement business strategies that drive revenue growth and customer satisfaction.
  3. Develop and implement plans to improve department performance, monitor progress, and make adjustments as needed.
  4. Support the development of business plans and processes to achieve defined vision and objectives.
  5. Implement organizational structure changes as needed to meet business objectives.
  6. Fill management positions as necessary and act as a gatekeeper for all leadership positions.
  7. Hold managers accountable for adherence to defined processes and procedures, and department, regional, and company values.
  8. Partner with other department leaders to ensure effective cross-functional business delivery.
  9. Design and propose innovations and initiatives to bolster long-term business success.
  10. Manage the budget, including building forecasts, developing budgets, and financial reporting.
  11. Establish and maintain company culture within the department function.
  12. Facilitate team meetings and represent the department function at company meetings.
  13. Identify critical issues and manage escalations from senior leadership to ensure concerns are resolved to satisfaction of the client and internal leadership.

Qualifications

  • BA in business administration or associate degree and equivalent, or relevant work experience.
  • Minimum 5 years as a Director or Department Head with financial accountability in a similar environment, overseeing multiple teams.
  • Experience working with various teams such as Finance, Marketing, and Projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead large, multi-faceted teams effectively.
  • Proficient in all aspects of client and vendor management.
  • Strong proficiency in client and vendor management, with excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze client needs, think strategically, and demonstrate strong business and time management skills.
  • Understanding of financial reporting on a weekly, monthly, and annual basis.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Strong team player with exceptional communication and customer service skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize, manage multiple projects, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
