Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Head of Accounting to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all accounting functions, including corporate accounting, international accounting, consolidations, reporting, audits, payroll, and tax.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of accountants in a fast-paced environment, encouraging a culture of improvement and professional growth.
  • Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring they reflect the company's financial position accurately and in accordance with IFRS accounting standards.
  • Oversee the SAP ERP system and lead optimization projects to identify and implement systems improvements.
  • Develop and implement standard processes for financial consolidation and reporting processes, ensuring compliance with IFRS accounting standards and regulations.
  • Continually develop, expand, and improve month-end close and financial reporting procedures to drive the reduction of the close timeline.
  • Streamline processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Collaborate with the FP&A team and other departments to gather and integrate financial data from various sources.
  • Support the year-end financial statement audits.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or business administration required.
  • Minimum of twelve (12) years of related accounting and corporate finance experience.
  • Masters degree in accounting, finance, or business administration preferred.
  • Knowledge of IFRS.
  • Experience in Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) Compliance.
  • At least 3 years of management experience.
  • Track record of partnering with Executive Leadership.
Preferred Qualifications
  • CPA Required.
  • Proven track record of leading and managing a team of finance professionals.
  • Strong experience in reporting to senior management of a well-established company.
  • Advanced proficiency in SAP, the Company's ERP system.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP, IFRS, and other relevant accounting standards.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly and concisely to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel.
  • Experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously, with strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage change effectively.

Base pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge, and location. This position is also eligible for a bonus as part of total compensation.

The pay range for this position is: $231,700 - $314,300 USD.
