Job Summary
As a key member of the Willis-Knighton Health System, we are seeking an experienced Patient Placement Coordinator to join our team. This highly accountable position is responsible for overseeing patient flow and making prioritization decisions for all entities within the health system.

About the Role
The successful candidate will coordinate and make placement decisions for all facilities based on volume, clinical acuity, physician discretion, and available services. They will work closely with patient flow coordinators, operators, front-line staff, and nursing supervisors to promote proper patient placement and improve patient flow. Additionally, they will document interactions with internal and external customers in a timely, appropriate, and thorough manner.

Responsibilities
* Oversee patient flow and make prioritization decisions for all entities within the health system
* Coordinate and make placement decisions for all facilities based on volume, clinical acuity, physician discretion, and available services
* Work closely with patient flow coordinators, operators, front-line staff, and nursing supervisors to promote proper patient placement and improve patient flow

Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field
* 2+ years of experience in healthcare operations or patient placement
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
