We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Industrial Engineer to join our Lab Operations team at Apex Systems. As an Industrial Engineer, you will play a key role in driving process improvements and optimizing lab operations to meet the evolving needs of our business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process Improvement: Apply industrial engineering principles to identify opportunities for improvement and develop solutions to enhance lab efficiency and productivity.
- Project Management: Serve as a project owner to develop, implement, and drive continuous improvement of lab processes and systems in a cross-functional environment.
- Collaboration and Communication: Coordinate with lab users to collect feedback on system usability and performance, and present project results in lab operations or cross-functional meetings.
- Data Analysis: Analyze data to create metrics for lab process or system performance, and sustain lab operation systems for daily operation.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in lab or manufacturing operations, with a strong background in industrial engineering principles and project management.
- Skills: 5S or 6-sigma methodology knowledge, project management skills, fast learner, team player, good communication and presentation skills.
Work Environment:
- Fremont, CA (Must work on site & work in clean room lab)
