The Program Coordinator serves as a champion for children and families by facilitating the placement of vulnerable children into suitable foster environments. The goal is to prepare these children for reunification with their families or transition to a stable, permanent home. This role encompasses Adoption, Licensing, and Foster Care management.

  • Monitor and ensure the safety and welfare of the foster child.
  • Provide guidance and resources to both the child and their biological parents.
  • Develop comprehensive case plans, documentation, and maintain accurate case records.
  • Conduct necessary administrative tasks, including data compilation, report preparation, and file management.
  • Represent the organization in legal proceedings, providing accurate testimony and making informed recommendations regarding the child's best interests.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • A Bachelor's degree in a field related to human behavioral sciences, such as Social Work, with at least 25% of coursework focused on human behavior, along with one (1) to three (3) years of experience in a social services environment.
  • Preferred completion of Child Welfare Training Institute (CWTI) training.
