Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Technical Artist to join our team at Randstad Digital. This role is pivotal in enhancing the functionality and accuracy of our autonomous vehicle simulation tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain content pipelines and standards for team adherence.
  • Design intricate logic within real-time engines.
  • Collaborate closely with simulation engineers to ensure that generated models meet fidelity requirements for effective simulation.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in creating environments for shipped products.
  • Expertise in at least one 3D DCC tool (e.g., Maya or Houdini).
  • Strong familiarity with Unreal Engine or similar platforms.
  • Solid understanding of Python programming and its application in game development pipelines.
  • Proficient in shaders, materials, real-time game engine logic, and performance optimization techniques.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in creating virtual environments for autonomous vehicle simulations.
  • Background in developing procedural animation systems.
  • Knowledge of photogrammetry and techniques for environment recreation.
  • Familiarity with other real-time engines (e.g., Frostbite, Unity).
  • Understanding of C++, HLSL/GLSL is a plus.
