About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operations Manager to join our team at Toyota Tsusho America. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading and supervising other employees, maintaining good relationships with customers and suppliers, and supporting the company's business, safety, operational, financial, and environmental objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership and Supervision: Directly manage Operations and Environmental Coordinators and/or Group Leaders within the Resource and Waste Management department.
- Customer and Supplier Relationships: Maintain good relationships with customers and suppliers, ensuring that their needs are met and expectations are exceeded.
- Business Objectives: Support the company's business, safety, operational, financial, and environmental objectives, ensuring that all activities are aligned with the company's overall strategy.
- Environmental Compliance: Ensure that the company's environmental policies and procedures are followed, and that all regulatory requirements are met.
- Safety and Quality: Contribute to the definition, implementation, and monitoring of safety guidelines, and develop and monitor incident reports and lead root cause and countermeasure activities.
- Communication and Collaboration: Communicate company policies to Assistant Managers/Group Leaders/Team Leaders, and provide direction in the development of environmental objectives, targets, and programs.
- Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and analyze reports on waste management costs, and provide recommendations for improving methods and equipment performance.
Requirements:
- Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as environmental science, business administration, or a related field, and at least 5 years of experience in a similar role.
- Skills and Qualifications: Strong leadership and supervisory skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
