Job Summary

The Human Resources Manager plays a pivotal role in developing, implementing, and evaluating HR policies, programs, and functions. This position oversees administrative functions related to human resource management, employee development, and employee service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, direct, and supervise activities related to recruiting, onboarding, payroll entry, benefits, and employee training.
  • Develop and implement programs to ensure cost-effectiveness, market competitiveness, and internal equity among employees.
  • Oversee benefits administration, including analysis and collaboration with the HR Generalist to provide a premier benefits package.
  • Assist the HR Director in daily HR services, including recruitment, selection, promotions, compliance, performance evaluations, employee relations, and benefits.
  • Maintain confidentiality of employee records and information.
  • Participate in developing department goals, objectives, and systems.
  • Assist in evaluating reports, decisions, and results of the department in relation to established goals.
  • Recommend new approaches, policies, and procedures to improve department efficiency and services.
  • Perform routine tasks to administer and execute human resource programs, including compensation, benefits, leave of absences, disciplinary matters, disputes, and investigations.
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Stay up-to-date on trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
  • Participate in new hire orientation and employee recognition programs.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of three years of demonstrated work experience in a human resource management position.
  • SHRM-SCP or SHRM-CP certification highly desired.
  • Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, and multitask in a high-stress environment.
  • Intermediate computer skills using Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
  • Personal integrity and commitment to confidentiality and privacy.
Work Environment

Duties are performed in an office setting with minimal environmental noise levels.

The ideal candidate will be able to handle the normal anxieties associated with the job and manage multiple projects in a service-oriented environment.
