Medical Assistant Job Description

Munson Healthcare is seeking a skilled Medical Assistant to join our team. As a Medical Assistant, you will work closely with healthcare providers to ensure the smooth operation of our clinics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical and administrative support to healthcare providers
  • Assist with patient care, including vital signs, injections, and other medical procedures
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members

Requirements:

  • Credentialed as a Medical Assistant from an approved Munson Healthcare Credentialing Organization
  • High school graduate or GED equivalent
  • BLS certification preferred and must be obtained within 90 days of hire and maintained
