About the Role

As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our clinic's front and back-office operations. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Performing routine and basic front and back-office duties, including data entry and phone support.
  • Assisting in the examination process of patients under the direction of a physician.
  • Interviewing patients and recording information on their charts.
  • Measuring vital signs and preparing specimens for laboratory analysis.
  • Conducting a variety of diagnostic tests.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A graduate degree in medical assisting or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a medical setting, preferably in occupational medicine or general medical.
  • National Medical Assistant certification.
  • Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS) certification.
  • Experience with medical data entry systems.
  • Ability to pass a medical clearance, including an N95 respirator fit test and other required vaccinations.
