Job Title: Sterile Processing Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Sterile Processing Technician to join our team at Jefferson Health. As a Sterile Processing Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest level of patient care by processing and sterilizing surgical instruments.

Responsibilities:
  • Clean, disinfect, and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment
  • Operate automated washers, cart washers, ultrasonic washers, and sterilizers
  • Assemble and package surgical trays and instruments
  • Use the Abacus Instrument Tracking System to track and manage instrument inventory
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external customers
Requirements:
  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Minimum of six months experience in sterile processing or a related field
  • CRCST certification
