As a Sterile Processing Technician II, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest quality of care by decontaminating, inspecting, assembling, packaging, and sterilizing surgical instrumentation.
Key Responsibilities- Clean and decontaminate surgical instruments to ensure they are free from any contaminants
- Inspect instruments to ensure they are in good working condition
- Assemble and package instruments for sterilization
- Operate automated instrument tracking system software to manage instrument inventory
- Produce a minimum of 15 instrumentation sets per day
- Demonstrate basic knowledge of the T-doc system
- Facilitate the identification of common goals within the department, prioritizing work, quality, and process improvement
- Demonstrate cost control by efficient use of supplies
- Administrative responsibility for TDOC System
- High School Diploma/GED required
- 2+ years of instrument processing experience required
- Certification as a Central Processing Technician required
