Position Overview:
We are in search of a Temporary Control Systems Specialist to enhance our automation team. The successful candidate will have extensive knowledge and experience with Siemens Desigo and Allen-Bradley PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) along with HMI (Human-Machine Interface) systems. This temporary role is crucial for the effective operation and upkeep of our automation frameworks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the automation team to sustain, troubleshoot, and refine Siemens Desigo and Allen-Bradley PLCs and HMI systems.
- Assist in crafting automation-related protocols and documentation.
- Offer technical insights for diagnosing and resolving automation-related challenges.
- Support ongoing automation initiatives and facilitate the integration of new automation technologies.
- Engage in routine system monitoring and data collection tasks.
- Ensure adherence to safety and quality standards in all automation operations.
- Contribute to the planning and execution of preventative maintenance tasks.
- Collaborate with the team to assess and suggest enhancements in automation processes.
- Provide mentorship and support to junior technicians and team members as necessary.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
- Strong proficiency in Siemens Desigo and Allen-Bradley PLCs and HMI systems.
- Demonstrated experience in automation maintenance, troubleshooting, and system integration.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
- Familiarity with industry-standard safety and quality regulations.
- Able to work effectively within a collaborative team environment.
- Strong communication skills with the capability to convey technical information clearly.
- Adaptability to evolving project requirements.
