Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Control Engineer to join our team at Amphenol Fiber Systems International. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our products meet or exceed customer expectations by interpreting customer requirements, conducting quality audits, and implementing process improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and interpret customer drawings, specifications, and contracts to ensure that our products meet customer requirements.
- Conduct quality audits to ensure that our products meet quality standards.
- Implement process improvements to reduce defects and improve product quality.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that quality requirements are met.
- Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Conduct root cause analysis to identify and correct quality issues.
- Manage documentation and records to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- 2-5 years of experience in manufacturing quality engineering, process engineering, or product engineering.
- Strong knowledge of quality systems and requirements, including AS9100 and NADCAP.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment and commit to continuous improvement.
