Job Summary

At Allied Universal Technology Services, we're seeking a skilled Security Monitoring Specialist to join our Monitoring and Response Center (MaRC) team. As a Security Monitoring Specialist, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the safety and security of our clients and their assets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor live video footage and location dashboards for signs of suspicious activity, such as burglary, loitering, and trespassing.
  • Analyze and respond to system-generated alerts and event notifications in a timely and effective manner.
  • Initiate outbound calls or emails to notify customers, law enforcement, and management of critical events requiring their attention or response.
  • Answer inbound calls regarding customer inquiries and respond as necessary.
Requirements
  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must be able to obtain a TOPS alarm system monitoring license during our paid on-the-job training.
  • Minimum of one year in a dispatching, security, customer service, or call center role.
  • Must be able to work overtime as needed.
  • Must be capable of managing high-stress environments and effectively communicating, particularly during critical, life-or-death emergency situations.
