Job Title: Field Service Engineer L2

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Field Service Engineer L2 to join our team at Insight Global. As a Field Service Engineer L2, you will be responsible for performing on-site service and repair of semiconductor processing equipment, troubleshooting equipment problems, and maintaining records and reports as required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform on-site service and repair of semiconductor processing equipment
  • Troubleshoot equipment problems and maintain records and reports as required
  • Coordinate activities with peers, supervisor(s), and customers to minimize equipment downtime and interruptions
  • Order and install parts, respond to emergency service calls as required
  • Instruct customer operating technicians on system operation and maintenance
  • Perform upgrades and modifications to equipment as needed
  • Remain current on equipment/tools through appropriate training, manuals, factory periodicals, and other relevant materials
  • Maintain standards of conduct acceptable to both TEA and customers to maintain credentials for being on customer site(s)

Requirements:

  • Must be able to be badged at client-specific site
  • Years of experience in equipment repair, must have mechanical hands-on aptitude
  • Avionics and/or Naval experience in either military or private sector in repair, troubleshooting equipment
  • Ideal clean room experience in troubleshooting & repair
  • Prior Diffusion/Furnace Equipment Experience
  • Associate degree in electronics, engineering, or other applicable field of study
