Overview:

As a results-oriented Store Operations Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the success of your location and team by establishing high standards for performance and customer satisfaction.

Your role will involve providing continuous coaching and training to your team to achieve company goals, enhance revenue, and develop their skills while exemplifying strong leadership.

Reporting to the District Director of Operations, you will manage marketing initiatives for your store, advocate for security and loss prevention, ensure compliance with quality standards, and review all transactions to foster an environment conducive to growth and innovation.


Responsibilities:

Mentor, lead, and develop all store personnel to acquire new business and drive store expansion by demonstrating expertise in and training on systems, company standards, account management, collections, job responsibilities, and performance metrics.

Take the lead and set a positive example for all store staff to identify local marketing strategies, leverage business-to-business partnership opportunities, obtain referrals, and engage in community and in-store events to promote growth and increase revenue.

Ensure compliance with quality standards, procedures, and local and state regulations. Review loan/pawn agreements and transactions to guarantee staff adherence to established procedures and practices. Participate in audits and compliance evaluations as directed by the corporate office or District Manager.

Oversee and maintain store security, including cash management and loss prevention by verifying and documenting cash discrepancies, vault, inventory, deposits, and expenses.

Conduct proper opening and closing procedures. Evaluate and process loan/pawn applications and all relevant transactions, assessing risk within defined limits. Participate in the selection, evaluation, hiring, and retention of new team members. Develop work schedules in alignment with budget, workloads, and store requirements. Ensure optimal staffing for peak performance. Address complex customer situations with integrity and professionalism. Monitor and maintain both internal and external store appearance and address basic facility needs, including scheduling maintenance services.

This includes overseeing store layout and ensuring seasonal and promotional marketing materials are displayed appropriately.


Work effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, managing multiple challenging tasks with ease to meet individual and team performance standards.

Utilize strong interpersonal skills to communicate and interact with customers and team members at all levels.

Ability to maintain a full-time work schedule with regular in-person attendance, including some weekend hours, is required for this position.

A full-time work schedule for this position includes, at a minimum, 40 hours per week*.

*Store hours, schedules, and/or the minimum number of hours required for this position may be subject to change by brand entity and at the sole discretion of the company.

Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent required. Minimum two years of experience and proven success in a supervisory or leadership role in retail, financial, service, or related industries. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to operate phone, Point of Sale, Microsoft Office, and other systems. Must be at least 18 years of age (19 in Alabama).

Background check required (subject to applicable law). Ability to meet the physical demands of this position, which frequently include:

the ability to remain in a stationary position, including standing up to 90% of the time, the ability to move and transport up to 25 pounds, the ability to navigate inside and outside of the store, and the operation of mechanical controls, such as a keyboard.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills: Associate degree or higher. Experience in check cashing, document verification, money order processing. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus and may be required for certain locations. What We Offer:
