Neonatal Nurse Practitioner Opportunities

The Neonatal Nurse Practitioner or PA-C will provide high-quality patient care in the NICU and newborn settings. This role requires a Master's degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant studies with Neonatal Certification and 1-2 years of experience in the NICU as an RN or Neonatal APRN/PA-C. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, be able to work effectively in a team environment, and have a passion for providing exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities:
Evaluate patients and develop treatment plans
Order and interpret labs, x-rays, and other diagnostic studies
Perform procedures such as intubation, lumbar puncture, and chest tube placement
Communicate effectively with parents, other specialists, and NICU team members
Provide education and support to patients' families
Dispense medications under collaborative agreement with a supervising physician
Work Environment:
The Neonatal Nurse Practitioner or PA-C will work in a fast-paced NICU environment, providing care to critically ill newborns. The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively in a team environment, communicate effectively with parents and other healthcare professionals, and provide exceptional patient care.
Requirements:
Master's degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant studies with Neonatal Certification
1-2 years of experience in the NICU as an RN or Neonatal APRN/PA-C
Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
Passion for providing exceptional patient care
