AdventHealth Medical Group is seeking a dynamic and energetic Neonatal APRN to work in our 102 single room NICU at AdventHealth Orlando.
About the Role:We are looking for a Neonatal Advanced Practice Registered Nurse to join our Neonatal team. The ideal candidate will have a Master's Degree in Nursing with a focus on Neonatology, or a Master's Degree in Physician Assistant Studies with a focus in Neonatology.
Responsibilities:- Evaluate patients, perform procedures, develop treatment plans, order and interpret labs, x-rays and other diagnostic studies per specialty guidelines and under the guidance of the Neonatologist
- Communicate with parents, other specialists and among NICU team
- Work a combination of day, night, and weekend shifts
- Valid Florida APRN License with Neonatal Nurse Practitioner certification or Physician Assistant license (or ability to obtain a Florida License)
- Certification through NCC (or eligible)
- NRP certification
- 1-2 years of experience in the NICU as an RN (highly preferred)
- 1-2 years of experience in the NICU as a Neonatal APRN or Neonatal PA-C (preferred but not required)
