Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Intake Coordinator to join our team at Interim HealthCare - Ringling Group. As an Intake Coordinator, you will play a vital role in guiding our clients through the admissions process, ensuring seamless and efficient care delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Complete intake screenings, including obtaining, documenting, and analyzing clinical and payer information.
  • Act as the primary contact for referral sources, outside agencies, health professionals, and payer sources.
  • Receive referrals, prepare reports, and respond to inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Communicate clinical and payer information effectively, both verbally and in writing.
Requirements
  • Healthcare experience, preferably in verifying benefits/eligibility of medical benefits.
  • Experience obtaining or processing pre-authorizations for medical services and/or procedures.
  • Strong customer service skills and effective prioritization and time management skills.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and referral processing.
  • Proficient in Excel, Microsoft Word, and Outlook.
