We are seeking a highly skilled Supplier Quality Engineer to join our team at Actalent. As a key member of our Americas Quality Department, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of purchased raw materials or components supplied by external vendors.

Your primary focus will be on evaluating, monitoring, and improving the quality of components or materials used in our manufacturing and development processes. You will work closely with engineering, production, and purchasing departments to address quality concerns and implement improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and select potential suppliers within the Americas region to ensure they meet quality standards and compliance requirements.
  • Establish and implement quality standards and processes for purchased materials that suppliers shall follow.
  • Conduct scheduled audits of suppliers to ensure they adhere to agreed-upon quality standards and specifications.
  • Address and resolve quality issues or defects in collaboration with suppliers to prevent future occurrences.
  • Implement initiatives to enhance overall supplier quality and efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment with a focus on supporting product/process quality.
  • Demonstrated high degree of data analysis skill.
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office and cloud-based applications.
