About USPI: USPI is a dynamic multi-specialty Ambulatory Surgery Center dedicated to delivering exceptional quality care and experiences for patients and their families.
Position Overview:
The Clinical Director of Ambulatory Surgical Services is accountable for overseeing the daily functions of the operating room, implementing process improvements to enhance service efficiency and patient satisfaction. This role will report directly to the ASC Administrator and will work collaboratively to ensure financial responsibility, develop and update policies, and assess staff performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop strategic plans for the clinical department in alignment with organizational standards for service excellence and growth.
- Manage budgeting and resource allocation effectively.
- Oversee all patient care and administrative operations and programs.
- Recruit and ensure the department is staffed with qualified professionals.
- Assign cases and create work schedules for all personnel.
- Coordinate and supervise staff while providing constructive feedback.
- Facilitate clinical training and continuous development opportunities for staff.
- Assess performance and implement disciplinary actions when necessary.
- Ensure compliance with legal regulations, internal policies, and quality standards.
Required Skills:
- Demonstrated experience as a clinical director or in a similar managerial role.
- Background in clinical supervision and program management.
- Strong understanding of budgeting, resource management, and performance evaluation processes.
- In-depth knowledge of clinical standards and regulations.
- Proficient in MS Office and patient management software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Outstanding organizational and leadership capabilities.
- Ability to resolve conflicts and address issues effectively.
Salary Range: $130K to $155K
Compensation is determined based on various factors, including individual qualifications and experience.
