About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate educator to provide individualized support for a student with exceptional needs at Research Triangle High School.

Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will be responsible for:

  • Providing 1:1 support to help the student access technology tools and notetaking strategies.
  • Attending classes with the student each period of the day.
  • Receiving training in emergency response procedures.
  • Maintaining communication with parents and teachers to ensure the student's needs are met.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • At least one year of experience working in a school system supporting students with special needs, with three years of experience preferred.
Salary and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary, estimated to be in the range of $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience. Additionally, employees of Research Triangle High School receive benefits such as health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
