Job Overview:

Durham Public Schools is seeking an experienced Exceptional Children Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will work closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students with exceptional needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess and provide services to students with speech and language disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support student progress

Requirements:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • NC Teaching Certificate or License
  • Experience working with students with exceptional needs
