We Are Hiring

We are seeking a Nail Care Specialist to join our team. This position is available on a Part-Time or On-call basis and will report directly to the Spa Director.

The Role

As a Nail Care Specialist, you will provide professional and personalized nail care services to our clients, offering a range of specialty treatments. You will engage with guests in a courteous and efficient manner, ensuring maximum satisfaction while adhering to all Four Seasons policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver nail care services tailored to guest requests, including manicures, pedicures, paraffin treatments, polish changes, and specialty services, while maintaining the highest standards of hospitality and professionalism.
  • Keep clients informed about the treatment process and provide insights into retail products.
  • Adhere to all California State Board regulations, ensuring sanitation and hygiene standards are met while maintaining a clean and professional workspace.
  • Prepare and organize the work area with necessary supplies; manage setup and breakdown of the workspace.
  • Assist in the overall maintenance of the Spa, including managing refreshments in pre-treatment areas.
  • Address special requests and resolve customer concerns; assist guests with inquiries related to spa services.
  • Guide guests to their appointments within the Spa and Fitness areas.
  • Manage linens, ensuring proper handling and return to laundry services.
  • Maintain cleanliness in the Spa Dispensary, Nail Bar, and Staff Room.
  • Enforce Spa and Fitness regulations within the locker room for all guests.
  • Utilize reservation systems and guest experience databases to ensure guest satisfaction with all services.
  • Recommend services and provide expert guidance to guests.
  • Ensure compliance with daily checklists and maintain high-quality presentation and functionality of all equipment.
  • Follow Four Seasons' Work Rules and Standards of Conduct as outlined in EmPact.
  • Collaborate harmoniously with colleagues and supervisors.
  • Assist with product and treatment inquiries and orient guests on Spa facilities.
  • Introduce guests to Spa service providers.
  • Adhere to payroll procedures and safety protocols, notifying security of any incidents.
  • Handle and store chemicals safely and properly.
  • Perform additional tasks and projects as assigned by management.
  • Support Front Desk responsibilities during peak times or in the absence of staff.
Who You Are
  • High School diploma or equivalent experience.
  • Current license from the California Board of Barbering and Cosmetology.
  • CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
  • A minimum of three years' experience in nail care, ideally in a luxury setting.
  • Familiarity with Napa Valley and surrounding areas is a plus, but not required.
  • Flexible schedule availability, including weekdays, weekends, holidays, and evening shifts.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage challenging situations.
  • Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English.
  • Outgoing personality with a knack for customer interaction.
