Job Title: Intake SpecialistThe Intake Specialist is a vital member of our team at Acadia Healthcare, responsible for ensuring a seamless and welcoming experience for our clients upon arrival. This role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Liaise with clients and families to address any questions or concerns they may have.
- Coordinate facility tours and ensure that clients and families are well-informed about our services.
- Interface with the remote admissions team and on-site clinical team to facilitate the intake process.
- Establish a professional rapport with clients to ensure they feel comfortable and supported.
- Support the arrival process, including coordinating assessments, searches for prohibited items, and orienting clients to the facility.
- Liaise with the direct care team to ensure clients are set up with a treatment plan and schedule as needed.
- Ensure that intake paperwork is completed in a timely manner and documentation is maintained as required.
- May discuss client financial responsibility and take payment as applicable.
- Provide exceptional customer service in line with Acadia Healthcare standards.
- High-school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- 1-2 years of experience in a patient care environment in a substance use/behavioral health setting, preferred.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills, as well as the ability to use required computer programs.
