Neonatologist Position at University of Florida

We are seeking a highly skilled Neonatologist to join our team at the University of Florida College of Medicine-Jacksonville. As a member of our Division of Neonatology, you will have the opportunity to work with a talented team of healthcare professionals to provide exceptional care to neonates and their families.
Job Summary:This is a full-time position as an Assistant Professor/Associate Professor/Professor rank at a tenure/non-tenure accruing level based on qualifications. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing clinical critical care to neonates and newborns at our 6 hospitals staffed by our division of neonatology. You will also be expected to teach and supervise the care of pediatric residents and advanced practice providers.
Responsibilities:- Provide clinical critical care to neonates and newborns at our hospitals
- Teach and supervise the care of pediatric residents and advanced practice providers
- Participate on committees to represent the Department of Pediatrics
- Develop new and support ongoing divisional academic activities
To be considered for this position, you must have a MD/DO/MBBS degree, be board-certified in Pediatrics and board-eligible/board-certified in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine, and be eligible for medical licensure in the state of Florida and for credentialing at area hospitals.
Preferred Qualifications:We are looking for individuals who have demonstrated a zest for teaching and continued personal professional development, an affinity for continuous quality improvement and/or outcomes-based research, and skills in working as part of a large team. Preference will be given to individuals who have a track record of mentoring junior faculty in their clinical development and academic endeavors and/or have experience with collaborative multicenter research or large data sets.
