Specific Duties Include:

  • Coordinating and scheduling clinical placements for students in the polysomnographic technology program.
  • Maintaining regular communication with clinical affiliates through newsletters to disseminate important clinical information.
  • Monitoring student progress to ensure they meet clinical objectives.
  • Collaborating with the Program Director to improve laboratory equipment and supplies.
  • Assisting in the orientation of new clinical affiliates and preceptors.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) with 6 months of direct patient care experience, or 1 year of post-secondary education.
  • A current, unencumbered polysomnographic technician license in the state of employment.
  • Compliance with all regulatory and corporate qualifications.
  • Previous teaching experience is preferred.
